Every stop list, route shape and departure time published on this site is generated from publicly published Delhi Transport Corporation open data — not scraped, not guessed, not typed by hand.
The foundation is the published GTFS static feed: 6,300+ bus stops with coordinates, 1,200+ routes with ordered stop sequences, and scheduled departures per route — first bus, last bus, trips per day, and full day timetables. That is what powers the stop lists, the Night/Morning/Afternoon/Evening departure buckets, and the trip counts on every route page.
Live bus locations come from the official OTD realtime GPS feed (otd.delhi.gov.in), relayed through our live tracking service that keeps positions updating every few seconds. The “buses live now” strip on route pages reads this feed directly.
On top of the open data we layer genuinely useful connections: the nearest metro stations for every halt, other stops within easy walking distance, related routes that share your stops, direct stop-to-stop connections, peak/off-peak frequencies, and end-to-end travel estimates. Calculated figures are labelled as estimates wherever they appear.
Published schedules are the plan; traffic, diversions, breakdowns and feed outages move reality. When the official feed drops or signals get noisy, pages keep showing the last honest state instead of inventing buses. Live tracking in the app exists exactly for that gap.
